"Oh lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz"…and why not, Mercedes do have an amazing heritage; in fact it was Karl Benz who invented the "modern automobile"! In 1888 he had to receive written permission from the Grand Ducal authorities to operate his car on public after residents complained about the noise and smell of his Moterwagen

From the start of production Mercedes have had a focus on quality, innovation and performance…for example every single 3 M-100 6.9 and 6.3V8 Mercedes engine was hand-built and tested on an engine dyno for just over four hours, 40 minutes of which were at full throttle. The W140 S Class featured double glazed windows and a heater that could deliver hot air, even when the engine was off! The ultra-rare 450SLC 5.0 is the only internationally successful rally car with an automatic gearbox – the ’boxes never failed during any of the events. Each Mercedes 500E was hand-built by Porsche and took a full 18 days to make.

Of course we couldn’t ignore Mercedes Benz link with AMG. Mercedes-Benz AMG cars are known to be brutally fast with distinctive full on styling - performance figures for these motors normally take you into supercar territory. All AMG engines are hand built, using a "one man, one engine" philosophy at the current AMG plant in Affalterbach, Germany. All AMG engines are signed (Plaque) by one of the 50 AMG engine builders.
